How would you describe your leadership style?
I would consider my leadership style as “Servant Leadership”. Servant Leadership is a leadership philosophy in which the main goal of the leader is to put employees first and help them develop and perform to their highest potential. On top of that, I do not believe in micromanagement. I believe in trusting and encouraging employees to voice their own opinion, ideas, and allow for their creativity to soar.
What would you say is the best professional advice that you have heard or received?
“Do not let perfection get in the way of progress”
What would you say excites you the most about being a part of the leadership here at OneRail?
Being a part of the leadership team at OneRail gives me the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of individuals with all different backgrounds, working collaboratively with a common goal: to dynamically change the industry from what we’ve known it to be. Watching the exponential growth and innovation happening at all levels of the company is truly exciting to be a part of.
Outside of work, what are you most likely to be doing?
Outside of work I enjoy trying out new workout classes, painting, hanging out with my cat and dog, or taking on a new interior design project!
What is at the top of your bucket list?
On my professional side, I would love to do a TED talk! However, on the personal side, I dream of one day having my artwork hanging in one of the top galleries in NYC. NOW THAT is a bucket list item.
Who is a leader(s) that inspires you?
Oh man, this is hard to narrow down. Looking just at leaders who are alive today, I would say… Melinda Gates, Mary Barra, Robert Igar. I highly recommend you read Melinda Gates and Robert Igar’s most recent books!
